The story follows Tess Marshall (Georgina Campbell), who arrives at an Airbnb in Detroit for a job interview. To her surprise, she finds the house is already occupied by a mysterious man named Keith (Bill Skarsgård). Due to a double-booking error and a lack of alternative lodging, Tess reluctantly agrees to stay the night.
