The Visual Novel offers multiple endings (including the famous "Ein" ending and the brutal "Drei" route) that provide much deeper character closure than the anime.
As of 2023, Phantom of Inferno was re-released on Steam in Japan only (as Phantom -PHANTOM OF INFERNO- ) with a new translation. The English patch for that version is incomplete.
