Some players exploit the Echo Autosave system. If you quit to main menu immediately after an Echo autosave triggers but before the next area loads, the game will retain your previous inventory but reset enemy placements. This is excellent for farming ammo. The v1.2 patch added a 10-second window, but it still works if you are fast.
Always copy save01.dat (or equivalent) to a separate folder before updating the game executable. urban demon remake save
