Kwentong Kalibugan (Coming-of-Age Story)
It was a summer vacation when Ate New suggested we go on a hiking trip to a nearby mountain. The event was a surprise to me, but I gladly accepted the challenge. We prepared our gear, packed enough food and water, and embarked on our journey early in the morning. The hike was more challenging than I anticipated, with steep paths and dense forests. However, the scenic views from the top were breathtaking.
To provide context, my sister ("ate") and I have always been very close. Growing up, we shared a room, secrets, and countless memories that only siblings can understand. Our relationship has been built on a foundation of trust, love, and mutual respect.
Ako at si ate, kami ang magkatabi sa bahay. Minsan, naisip namin na maglaro ng "hide and seek" sa loob ng bahay, pero may twist - dapat magdisguise kami.
Looking back, I realize that my relationship with Ate New has been a defining factor in my life. She has been a constant source of love, support, and encouragement, helping me navigate life's challenges and celebrate its triumphs. Our story is a testament to the power of sibling love and the impact it can have on our lives.
