For many veteran Knights, the search for a working gutter line GRF is a rite of passage. In the early days, players had to memorize the map coordinates or even tape clear projector sheets with hand-drawn lines onto their physical monitors to avoid the "dead zones".

You downloaded the GRF, but the gutter line isn't showing. Here is the anatomy of the failure. There are three main reasons the "Gutter Line GRF download" fails to "work":

Log in. If you are the admin, load the NPC manually ( @loadnpc npc/custom/gutter_line.txt ). If the NPC appears as an error (red box or "Apple" sprite), the GRF path is wrong.
