This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of Android keylogger implementations retrieved from GitHub. We categorize common techniques (Accessibility Service, InputMethodManager, Logcat sniffing), evaluate their effectiveness against modern Android versions (10–14), and discuss detection mechanisms. Finally, we propose a framework for ethical research and defensive countermeasures.
