The HP LaserJet 1010 is a host-based printer (GDI). It relies on the PC’s CPU to process print jobs. While HP dropped support, Microsoft included a legacy compatibility layer. You can still make it work perfectly using an old Vista/XP 64-bit driver running in compatibility mode.
