All Stars 5 premiered on June 5, 2020, on VH1. The premise was simple: bring back fan-favorite queens who had something to prove. Unlike All Stars 1 (the teams debacle) or AS3 (the jury twist), AS5 attempted to refine the "Lip Sync for Your Legacy" format introduced in AS2 and AS4 .
