Judy Mature Lady

As the days went by, Judy got to know the new family. She would invite them over for dinner, or offer to babysit their children while they ran errands. The children adored her, and she quickly became a surrogate grandmother to them. The parents, too, grew to appreciate Judy's kindness and generosity, and soon they were all good friends.

Judy takes three trips a year. Not chaotic backpacking trips (she did that in 1978), but curated journeys. A river cruise through the Danube. A writing retreat in the mountains of North Carolina.
