Released in 1992, Honey, I Blew Up the Kid is the sequel to the 1989 classic Honey, I Shrunk the Kids . The film follows eccentric inventor Wayne Szalinski (played by Rick Moranis). After successfully shrinking his kids in the first film, Wayne accidentally creates a "growth ray" this time. When his one-year-old son, Adam, gets zapped by the machine, he begins to grow uncontrollably—reaching 50 feet (15 meters) by the climax.
